Very good for hair
5The L'oreal steam pod straightens and curls very well. I like the steam feature and comb attachment to detangle hair and spread out the heat distribution on the hair. So far, my hair hasn't got caught on it. This straightener is very easy to use and most people won't have to use demineralised water, tap water is fine.

Very good for hair

Love it
4My hair is on the thinner side, wavy and about 3 inches past my shoulders with a fringe. I really like the steam pod - my hair feels softer and shinier when using it. I use it quickly on my fringe however I'm always afraid I'll accidently tap my forehead. I had a steam straightener years ago and loved it so I'm familiar with this type of straightening system and I do believe it does less damage than a flat iron would. It's recommended this is used with a loreal steam pod product, however I use it with Moroccan Oil. Side bar - I always dislike when an expensive product doesn't come with even a small sample of the suggested accompanying product like this situation. Pros: - My hair is softer and seems to look more naturally straight because of the natural movement this straightener creates. - I like the ability to choose the temperature. On my hair I tend to stay around the 180 mark. Cons: - When I initially use it makes my hair a bit wet from the steam, however this stops as I progress. This isn't necessarily negative but it makes me feel like I've got to do multiple passes initially. - When I switch sides I've got to remember to turn the handle so the arrows are facing the correct direction. - The sound the steam pod makes is a bit noisy which if you live in a very small apt I can see it maybe annoying you or any flat mates but not a biggie for me.

Leaves my hair looking and feeling soft for days!!
5With other straighteners I have to go over my hair several times to get it straight, which then only last 1 night! With the steam pod once over works great and my hair is left feeling silly smooth and very straight which last for up too 3 days! Highly recommend this product over any other straightener

In Love - Best Investment
5This is by far the best product i have bought for my hair. Recently I have reduced the usage of my GHD drastically due to the fact that my hair was feeling so dry and dehydrated after use, plus my hair wouldn't stay straight for very long due to humidity. With the Steampod, I have none of those problems anymore. My hair stays straight and frizz free until I wash it. I've always wanted to have that 'unrealistic' straight hair that you see in shampoo commercials which I though was a myth, but now i can achieve it with the Steampod. My hair is left so shiny and feeling amazing when used in conjuction with the smoothing cream and protective serum. Completely worth the money. Stop deciding and start adding it to your shopping cart! You won't regret it.

A Must-Have Essential!
5The Loreal Steampod is an essential! Hair straighteners damage and dry out your hair and the results given from the steampod using steam, a far better and healthy way for your hair as the paired protective cream and serum are penetrated into the hair aswell as moisture. The steampod lengthens the time of your straight hair with the elimination of frizz.

5ive always used GHD's until i heard about the steam pod and so i purchased one because it has so many great reviews and it is unexplainably amazing!! it does wonders for my hair leaving it silky smooooth, feeling so healthy and straightens it perfectly! deffinately worth the money and now i couldnt imagine using anything else :)

The L'Oreal Steampod is my new best friend
5I went to a hair dresser who used the L'Oreal Steampod Hair Treatment and Straightening System on my hair and I loved the results so I purchased one from RY. I absolutely love it. I have been straightening my hair for some time and I know that it has dried out my hair but the Steampod steams in condition and leaves my hair, soft, shiny, straight and it appears to lock in moisture so that my hair is not affected by moisture in the air such as humidity and rain. Can't say enough good things about it. I am hoping with continued use and not using my straightener (GHD) unless curling that the condition of my hair will improve.

Best straightener on the market
5Best straightening product there is. Its expensive, but worth the money. Wish the construction was more sturdy. The only appliance that wont damage your hair, absolutely love the technology. Fantastic if you have hair extensions. It will keep them in better condition! Definitely recommended. Just make sure you look after it and follow the care instructions!

Fantastic hair straightener - steam is the answer to healthy, straight, shiny hair
5Very, very happy with this straightener. Previously GHD Queen with damaged ends. Have found that nil damage or dry ends. Straightens beautifully. The steam makes all the difference. Incorporate this straightener with the Loreal hair treatments and you have straight,shinny and healthy hair. Plus it is not as time consuming as the GHD. Love it, just love it.
