Always towel-dry hair to remove excess water and smooth it with a comb or brush to untangle. Styling hair will be faster if it is slightly damp, not wet.
- Use the HIGH (II) setting on thick or coarse hair and the LOW (I) setting on fine or thin hair.
- For best results, separate hair into manageable sections.
- For smooth blow-drys, place the hair dryer close to the roots and brush down towards the ends.
- For voluminous blow-drys, place the hair dryer under the hair close to the roots and roll outward to the ends.
- To curl ends in, place the hair dryer under the ends and hold or 2 to 3 seconds before rotating inward. To curl
- ends out, place the hair dryer over the ends and hold for 2 to 3 seconds before rotating outwards.
- Repeat for the remaining sections until desired look is achieved.

Wow
I have extremely thick wavy/curly hair just below my shoulders, I was hoping this would save me time and damage from blow-dry and straightening..... my package arrived at 1.44pm by 1.56pm I was done and now at 2.05pm I'm writing this review! My hair looks and feels just like it does when I leave the salon. Some tips, I used kms therma spray to help speed up the drying time. Make sure you place brush under hair for volume and take your time with each pass, slowly rotate brush to keep your ends nice and tucked in like the salon does.
Hot tools - love it
I love this thing! I’ve got fine hair just to above the shoulders - was worried the large size would be too big but no problem. I can’t quite get the hairdresser finish but so much better than a blow dry and then irons as well - half the time and doesn’t make your hair look like it is stuck to your head! Takes a few goes to get used to using it but really so easy and fast!
Wonderful tool!
I had ordered a knockoff version of this from eBay. The bristles melted after about six months and it often had a burning smell, but I loved the results. I was worried I would have the same issues with the Hot Tools one, but no- I love this! It heats up nicely and works perfectly. Does exactly what you want it to. My hair is frizzy and wavy and thick and long and this helps tame it in about 35 minutes, as opposed to the hour plus I would spend blow drying and straightening. My only recommendation is finding great hair products to compliment the work that this tool does!
beats the hairdryer
I bought this because I have super curly un-tameable hair and blow drying it just ends in disaster. This is so great, it dries it nice and straight, leaving it with some body and feeling healthy. All I have to do is run over it quickly with the straightener and its good to go!
Leaves hair flat
I had high hopes for this blowout brush but does not deliver unfortunately. It dries hair, and temporarily (maybe 5 minutes) leaves it with some volume, but after that my hair turned lifeless and flat. Far more so than if I allowed it to dry naturally. Very disappointed, do not recommend for fine/thin hair.
This is a must for thinning hair
I recently purchased the Blow Out brush after reading great reviews and I have to say I’m impressed. It makes my thinning long locks look thicker and fuller and is totally easy to use. I currently have the Dyson hair dryer and when compared the Dyson is slightly faster at drying my hair but doesn’t give me the fuller look of the Blow Out brush.

I absolutely love this blowout brush! There was no need to straighten afterwards, my hair is soft and shiny and it is super easy to use and quick!! Best hair purchase I have made! It isn't as loud as I thought it was going to be which was an added bonus. I have curly thin hair but a lot of it so normally I need to use the hottest setting on a straightener. I was able to use the low heat setting which is fantastic!
