Does not dissapoint!
I have recently upgraded from my ghd IV, which I've had now for about 5 years. There isn't anything wrong with my iV, I just fancied treating myself! This Platinum+ is amazing, although it is quite a bit more than the IV, I can see why. My hair looks so shiny after I have used it and it feels so smooth, not like with straighteners from other brands that make your hair feel lifeless. 100% recommend!
Quick and easy
GHD never disappoints! I have thick long hair, and this product glides through my hair like butter. My hair never feels like its too hot at the end either. Works well for both straightening and curling.
Really disappointed
I've owned GHD's for years and this is the first one that has disappointed me. I find it too bulky to get close to the roots. And its impossible to curl your hair with as the plates don't sit flush against each other, so if you turn it on an angle the hair just slips out. So much so that I thought mine was faulty and contacted GHD, they told me that the gap in the plates is not actually a physical fault, it is there by design. It is weird and annoying and I wish I hadn't bought this straighterner.
